AMD is only competing in the DIY market and smaller boutique builders thus far. Best Buy and most other volume retailers still sell only the older generation parts. The DIY and boutique markets are very profitable. It is also pretty small volume. Most of the growth in PCs is in 2 in 1s and the dekstop market is still in decline not flat. The real test for AMD is if it can get more wins at HP, Dell, Lenovo and Acer. And they likely won't have any significant opportunities there until they get a part with integrated graphics.
