We can try to speculate on this

They did not release the news in PR on Friday - good news

However they have decided to host the cc early in the morning before typical 7.00 am PR are issued.

My take - news is not good or that good.

A good news is issued as a PR and then cc is set so investors come with good questions.

A cc w/o PR normally means not so good news and company does not want investors to come prepared to grill co officials.
