There is a very small chance that the MJ sector in the United States will be shut down or set back. Jeff session's original views stem from an unwarranted, non-science based opinion that he developed many years ago.

Donald Trump is in favor of medical marijuana and is a huge proponent of the 10th amendment.

Our neighbor to the north is set to be the legal marijuana hub of the world; our neighbor to the south is the illegal marijuana hub of the world. More than 50% of US citizens have access to marijuana. More than 50% of US citizens are in favor of recreational marijuana and ~ 70% are in favor of medical marijuana.

I am much more involved in politics than I am in stocks and I can assure you that Donald Trump is not concerned with identity politics or social issues. He cares about the economy, jobs and domestic safety. It would be an erroneous decision for him to go against the will of the people on an issue that is *almost* resolved. It's an uphill battle and a lose-lose situation for him if he takes a stance against it - economically, politically and safety wise.
