I have read about this a few times, but i did not dig very deep.
One day i was trying to sort out the paid bashers from the shorts and the bashers looking for a lower entry point, so i asked a few questions. One basher for months, said he was trying to get a lower entry price another gave me the info for his short account's. I called out of curiosity, both wanted 25-30k for a margin account. They both stated their must be available shares to short. One said their were some available the other said their were none at this time. My conclusion was it sure cant hurt and it only takes a minute to throw up a high sell price and add a good until cancelled all or nothing sell. Limit their options.
