Big appetite for edibles


Whoever gets to sell edible marijuana goods, evidence from other legal jurisdictions suggests they could be hugely popular once Canada legalizes marijuana.

In Colorado, legal sales of marijuana edibles totaled $90.41 million US in 2014, according to data from cannabis business data firm BDS Analytics. That number grew to $126.17 million US in 2015, and ballooned to $189.9 million US in 2016.
