Dance is likely DEAD now. They WERE limping along with peanut venture capital funding, then tried an IPO but that failed. They even BLAMED Mannkind's failure:

...for their own problems. No one seems capable of understanding that diabetics, for the most part, simply aren't that interested in an inhaled version of insulin.
Add to that the newest artificial pancreas-type technologies hitting the market this year and next, and it's practically a foregone conclusion that inhaled insulin is dead in the water.
