GE expands additive manufacturing capabilities, new metal 3D printer coming soon

Cost savings through the use of additive manufacturing at GE are forecast at $1 billion over the next two years according to CEO Jeff Immelt.


I'm betting that a good chunk of the spend that will net them $1B in savings will come Sigma's way. You can bet that since Immelt is out advertising that himself, there will be hell to pay if they do not deliver it to him.
