Well, while it is legal, the question is if Dell is that important. Competitive landscape changes over time, and having Dell owned is great, but there must a moment when one has to draw a line in the sand ...

The catch is if the AMD's window of opportunity is too short, Dell will stay loyal to its old allies (Intel). That is what happened to Athlon. If AMD64 becomes a serious force, Dell will recompute its interests and will start using AMD in no time.

Dell's price advantage is good, but there must be a moment when it is not enough. Can the tide turn here?
