My impression is not that LDN is "so little recognized in the medical community". In fact, big pharma companies are very aware of LDN, and are not backing it (want the drug to fail) because it could easily disrupt their markets, being that LDN is far cheaper, and could possibly outperform big pharma's drugs for certain diseases. That is why IMUN could potentially be a great acquisition target in the future. My guess is if that happened, it would more likely be after they started selling in Africa. Big pharma would much rather IMUN fail if possible.

I believe this is why the business plan is to enter Africa first, gain more evidence for the benefits of the drug, before entering the United States through Cytocom a few years later. I believe that it will be easier to pass a Phase 3 trial after already commercializing in Africa. That is because the FDA is influenced by big pharma, but when you have success stories through an entire continent backing LDN's claims, it's a lot harder for the FDA to reject the drug.
