The maintenance of protein homeostasis is essential to human health. At Proteostasis Therapeutics, we have made advances in characterizing and pharmacologically controlling the Proteostasis Network (PN), a set of pathways that control protein biosynthesis, folding, trafficking, and clearance. Our discoveries are creating new opportunities for ameliorating diseases in a number of therapeutic areas, including cystic fibrosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.
