No conference that is held in Monaco would ever be considered a waste of money. Hardly anyone goes NEAR Monaco without having an obscene amount of wealth personally, professionally or both. And no one who holds a conference there -- or attends a conference there -- is doing so because it is a "waste of money." Rather, they expect it to be very much worth their while.

There is more concentrated wealth in Monaco than in almost any other place on earth. If you're going there to a conference (or hosting a conference) it is because you're pretty confident that there is big money to be had.

Ask your employer for to sponsor you at any conference that is held in Monaco...unless you are a really high roller in the business world , you will be laughed out of your boss's office. I know I would be.

This isn't Vegas, or your local Radisson conference center...this is the big time.

If this was a "fluff" conference that didn't generate success stories, it wouldn't last long being held in Monaco each year.
