Rascals International, Inc., An entertainment/comedy club corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: RSCA) ('Rascals') announced that it is set to break into the billion dollar DVD/VHS marketplace with the first release of its line of comedy videos in a nation- wide rollout, with distribution to be handled through Razor &Tie Direct L.L.C. ('Razor &Tie'). Rascals is opening the vault of its video library collection with three videos, set to go into all available retail locations nationwide.
The first three videos, 'Knockouts 1 &2', and 'All Rosie'hit distribution on July 29, 2003 to big name locations such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy and other nationally recognized retailers.
Ed Rodriguez of Rascals states, 'We are very much excited about the introduction of our first three videos to retailers nationwide. This is a big step for Rascals and will definitely position the 'Rascals'trademark countrywide. Razor &Tie's direct connection to the retail community will help us move forward quickly with our nationwide expansion strategy.'
Furthermore, Rascals is awaiting the final stages of further distribution agreements with other major video retail stores (the names of these stores are being withheld until agreement is finalized).
