Verb (Scott H) in publicly available videos has talked about Verb software running multiple robots, similar to how Android is the OS for many manufactures of smart phones. Samsung makes the hardware, Android is the OS.

Verb is the interface, to bring imaging, EMR info, machine learning, data analysis, etc..into the robot - make it smart so to say.

No reason why ISRG would not also consider using Verb for this. ISRG is really just a remotely controlled laparoscopic surgical system, it's not really a robot, no intelligence to it. It just does what the surgeon tells it to do. This is ISRGs biggest weakness in the market.
