I realize that most of the active investors here have little to no chemistry background and especially in the area of Organic Chemistry. I found the following Wikipedia article that really points out why HYSR technology is NOT going to find its way into the commercial production of H2 for a long time.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_production
Those investors proclaiming that Global Warming is NOT happening have sealed their own fates. The reason is that Hydrogen production is ~80% efficient in the "syngas" technology and has been used for a very long time. The sources of syngas are methane, natural gas, coal (goal gassification), etc. The organic compounds have a lot of Hydrogen in each molecule. They are the current sources of major Hydrogen production, yet are only a small part of common organic processing. Water, on the other hand, has ONLY 1 H2 and requires a large amount of energy to separate it. That means that the use of carbon based molecules (i.e. organics) are commercially far more viable than water for hydrogen. If MAN- CAUSED-CLIMATE-CHANGE is a hoax, then there is absolutely NO incentive whatsoever to use water, which is FAR less efficient and FAR more expensive, to produce H2 than the organics. The ONLY reason to use photoelectric types of processes with water is to eliminate the CO2 released in the H2 production from organics. If that is not necessary, because its a hoax, then HYSR is, for certain, doomed to fail.
Those wanting to believe that the HYSR tech is great and price competitive are caught in a very vicious circle that is completely illogical. Now, with more coal production, huge amounts of H2 can be available and will be able to fuel Hydrogen filling stations as well as solid forms for fuel cells.
