Many diabetics have monitors that let them know that their blood sugar levels need attention. You make it sound like 38% of those using Afrezza are in danger of not getting enough insulin. Combining proper monitoring and familiarity with Afrezza, those people will eventually learn how to titrate themselves more consistently.


In the type 1 trial, the A1C reduction with Afrezza was -0.20 vs -0.40 for insulin. As insulin works, I assume this problem was improper dosing.

Please tell me, if they were not able to dose properly in a clinical trial, why would you expect real world to be better?

Maybe some have been able to figure it out. But the vase majority give up.

As far as type 2, I serious doubt most of these will make any serious effort to self titrate properly. Titrating carbs seams to be beyond many of them.
