Investing in a penny stock certainly runs the risk of getting involved with a scam. Especially if it's a sub-penny!
I have been lucky to not invest in some scams (though their story sounded interesting, of course) - however, I have been unlucky in investing in others.

In my experience [though not vast] I have noticed with the ones I've come across, they all shared a common denominator: they were not Current, or they ceased being Current, with the OTC. They either showed a YIELD or STOP sign, or Skull & Crossbones all together. And they certainly would NOT be spending $$$ on a 10-K Annual Report and Audit!
*Disclaimer: not all the companies that show a yield or stop sign make it a scam, the good ones "turn-it-around" .. but tread cautiously. Skull & Crossbones? Well, Fugetaboutit*

As with many pennies, MMEG is dealing with trying to grow, Revs and debt issues, dilution, etc. There are several different ways to go about this and MMEG has chosen the acquisition route; and they've kept shareholders in the loop the whole step of the way ... no "going dark" here. IF the pieces being acquired "mesh" well together and the puzzle is completed --- well then, revs, profits, debt issues are solved (and possibly some shares could be bought & retired!) and this becomes a $$winner$$ [oh yeah I forgot] ... Baby!! ... a true "diamond in the rough" so to speak (especially at this PPS level!).

If the pieces don't synergize properly, or debt becomes too overwhelming, then the attempt and company fails. Hence, "high-risk investment." But that does not make it a SCAM!

Fingers still crossed on one hand, while tightly holding my shares (way more than I logically should have bought) on the other. GLTA!!
