Are buyouts based on the outstanding shares? So with the current SS, the company would have to be valued at several billion dollars to be bought out at $1 per share. Is this correct? I'm trying to learn. Also, if there were to be a buyout, shareholders wouldn't have to worry about selling the shares at a given pps right? The conversion would happen automatically? Has anyone been part of a buyout before? Has a buyout of an OTC stock that benefited shareholders in a significant way happened before?

Thanks in advance.
