I would think one could bring back Glass Steagall on some schedule that would not be that disruptive

We have seen MET LIFE shed a ton of business and likewise a ton of huge financial companies

If the Balance Sheets are accurate (a big if) - then spin off corporations for non banking or for investment should not be very disruptive if enough time is allowed for phase in and the ability of the equity markets to raise capital etc.
