That is for sure.
The false statements were quite common back then.
But seeing that he has not been able to make those statements for years I think it's safe to say that the false statements made recently were all to the credit of Dan.

He is nowhere near as good at it as Scott and Andrew were but apparently he's good enough to fool the longs into waiting 6+months for something that only takes 10 days normally.

"Soon" = 6 months and counting.
