April 19-The drizzle all day shut down my plan to get manure. I still walked up to the Uhaul and reserved a truck for Thursday at 11.

With little to do outdoors I took the bus to Wal Mart and returned with cat food and an 8 pound bag of Tomato-tone granular organic fertilizer. The NPK ratio is different from Garden-tone. Some amount of Nitrogen (3%), but more Phosphorus and Potassium (6)(8).

I walked up the slope to check the tomato plants I've put in. I'm up to 9. All looking good. The first one put in last week has gotten over transplant shock and is showing the first signs of new growth. Wish I had before and after images.

I made a stop at the library before heading over to Starbucks for coffee grounds. I ordered more seed from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds: exotic cantaloupes, including the Charentais, a stain of Sugar Baby watermelon, Red Cored Chantenay carrot.

Not done with riding buses, I went to Dollar General on 7th for some potting soil and came back with packets of White Lisbon bunching onion and dark green zucchini.

I spent some time sifting the potting soil with CC the Calico Cat who spent most of the afternoon in the greenhouse. I took it home t fill newspaper cups for more Precoce d'Argentueil seed. I noticed a couple of cups in the greenhouse were telling me germination had occurred. Dreama took an image of one.

Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
