Great post basserdan! That's what I've been saying for a good 6 months now. Sadly, the same holds true for the mining shares.

Any instrument that "competes" for investment dollars with the metal itself prolongs the bullshit.

Physical metal is the weak link. The Achilles Heel of the banking beast.

We'd have their collective asses both corralled and kicked in less than 6 months if "investment" dollars were concentrated on the physical metals themselves.

Forget about etf's. Forget about "trading." Forget about the miners (for now).

People need to recognize and decide what's REALLY important; a cheap ass 11-12% trading "gain" (if you're lucky) or several orders of magnitude (300-400%) realized when we kick the bankers asses once and for all !
