Sorry... but have to disagree with you... OPK doesn't need another company to invest in...!! It needs to get better management who knows how to run a tight ship... Get things done on time... and have a plan B !! Missing dates and also marketing goals... seems to be the way of life... !!! and Frost says after a year of it... how he is happy with the results !!

Lets look at a couple of ventures... RXII is one which OPK invested .. like what 4 years ago... the stock has gone no where it looses money still... And... we just put in more money into it... actually it could even be six years....

Then... let's look at BRLI... the one that hit the stock so hard... it has never been able to recover... Small Growth... And you couldn't prove it to me... that it has helped with things like Rayaldee... Go listen to the last earnings call... and at the beginning an analyst talks bout expectations and how they were NOT met.... And when asked about BRLI... and how can we improve on it... I believe it was the CFO.. says... we have a new billing system which will improve billing so we will see a greater amount... DUH... Just like a CFO.... Where is the President or whatever of BRLI... WITH A BUSINESS PLAN TO GAIN MARKET SHARE??? I mean really..


I don't have time to check on it... but about 9 months ago... OPK and the FROST.. both put money into another small company.. that moved up in value..... GUESS WHAT.... last time I checked severl months ago.... FROST sold some of his... and... OPK... well still has it all... again... last time I checked...

No... OPK has Plenty of products... I think we need NEW MANAGEMENT ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP !!! Don't forget the guy who was asked when the 4k new submission would be done... REMEMBER JUST A REWORK OF THE DATA..!! He answered something like... we should know sometime this summer when it will be done!!! He would be cleaning out his desk if he had worked for me...

Just not throwing barbs... I have had a long career with focus on Business cases.... and the last 12 years building a Product from 3 million to about 35 million... a year... and two things... One always have a plan B in case plan A doesn't work AND... TIME...TO MARKET... AND GROWTH... MEANS EVERYTHING as long as you have a good product... For Example... Everyday... someone uses something else other than RAYALDEE... That revenue is LOST FOREVER..!!! Get it out even one week early... that is a week usage by customers... never to be seen again !! These guys talk like Well.. this or that... won't delay it much.. !!!

Take a look at the ROCHE ANNOUNCMENT ... see what it did... and our product is where?? I know... maybe another upper management is going to be named to another small BOD... non-contributing ompany we own..?? So they can split their time??


OK... the second item... is SUNK COST... check it out... once they are in bed with these companies... they HAVE TO SEE A RETURN... or THE PORTENTIAL..(and don't forget the time discounting) of REVENUE AND PROFIT... some of these small ones... may never have a pay day... hey... things change... and WHEN HAS OPK CUT BAIT ON ANY OF THEM???? HMMM...
