April 16-The morning was sunny, so I decided to re till the raised bed next to the mobile office. The grasses were getting too thick to work with a digging spade. Then it clouded up. It looked like a rain shower was on its way. False alarm. By midday, it was mostly sunny and warm.
I managed to put in a tomato plant on the slope, a Rosa Bianca eggplant, a pepper plant, and a volunteer tomato plant in a corner of the raised bed next to the mobile office. I'm now running low on compost. Wednesday I will get manure from Bobby's stable. That's the plan anyway.
I took a nap in the afternoon. Why not? It's Sunday.
CC the Calico Cat appeared with a sparrow in her mouth. She tormented the poor creature for nearly an hour. How many creatures does she capture and torment while I'm away. She has become quite a skilled hunter.
Monday I will call Jerry to see if he's feeling OK.
Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
