Coolest Deal Award: GE Aviation for buying Arcam

Entered as almost a footnote in this report. Not sure where the $ figure comes from. I didn't see a published final price paid by GE but my calculation using 76.15% of 20,746,585 shares at 300 SEK on November 29th using the exchange rate on that date yields $515,502,694 US. It's quite possible that GE bought Oppenhiemer's stake for less than the final 300 SEK tender offer but it's unlikely that the difference would be this big.
