I can't think of a better way to describe "spoon fed" than calling the company to get stroked with "soon"

People being told nothing material in a private conversation that explains nothing but makes them feel better about their losses.
Totally spoon fed.

The market is supposed to be a buffet.
Everything out in the open where we can decide what we want to eat for ourselves.

But SRSR... "close your eyes and open your mouth"

After the CEO puts something in your mouth you can decide if it's a sausage or something else.
