Dunno if Intel has done anything else other than invest money. Of course, I don't know if AMD has either, although Coatue has talked as if AMD was allowing them access to a fab. But yeah, being fully compatible with existing processes is a very big plus. Many of rhe "it's going to replace DRAM" technologies often use wierd materials and/or radically different processes, MRAM suffers from both of these. As a result, they tend to stall to work out these problems and then the ol' technology bus passes them by. Polymer memory looks very, very good, but I want to see some products first. It doesn't have to be the fastest, it doesn't have to be the cheapest, lower power and much higher erase cycles will be enough for now...
