Just to clarify, as I am new to this game, when I bought my shares from my computer, was I buying electronically?
gzfx, today?

You ordered electronically. But the order still goes to the trading floor.

they said Ameritrade, Scottrade, E-Trade were all broker to broker, today and I think, yesterday, could you check on that quickly as I have to go to work in about 5 -15

Yes this stock would be broker to broker. We get the order, send it to the floor, the floor broker must then find someone to buy it on the floor.

You ordered electronically. But the order still goes to the trading floor.

SO AM I CORRECT IN SAYING I BOT ELECTRONICALLY, OR WAS IT DONE BROKER TO BROKER ON THE FLOOR? THINK YOU JUST ANSWERED THAT?

You placed the order online. This is an OTC stock. It still has to go to the floor to be traded. You placed the order electronically, but it still goes broker to broker.
It was a broker to broker trade.

good, does that mean then that these guys can usually do it some other way ... not broker to broker ... all saying they could not do it electronically ...what did they mean, if, as you say, all Otc stocks have to be traded on the floor so all are broker to broker ... they were waying, shit, can't trade electronically ...has to be btoker to broker???
... thanks for your patience

"Otc stocks have to be traded on the floor so all are broker to broker"...

they were waying, shit, can't trade electronically ...has to be btoker to broker???

Unfortunately, I do not really know what they are referring to. They were most likely wanting to trade to electronically using an exchange, but there is no exchange for OTC stocks. Any and all trades for this stock would be broker to broker.

... there was a bit more.

Understand mechanisms more now, but, still confused of the board conversation ... cheers all
