American Stock Exchange (Amex):

The AMEX is a centralized exchange that utilizes specialists to maintain a fair an orderly market.

Summarized requirements for an initial AMEX listing under alternate 1:

- A minimum bid price of $3.00 per share
- Stockholders equity of $4,000,000
- Pretax income of $750,000 (In the latest fiscal year or 2 of the three last fiscal years)
- $3,000,000 market value of publicly held shares (Public Float)
- 800 public shareholders
- 500,000 publicly held shares (Public Float)
- Corporate governance and other regulatory requirements such as audited financials
