I'm agreeing with somanymile - only the right people are getting their ads. This makes their customer acquisition cost minimal and their conversion rate of turning website visits to sales is very high. Other companies pay for a bunch of randoms to click their website for a moment.

In terms of this promotion - I think it's something like this - 5k people show up and get a free order, and they believe based off early friends and family promotion results that maybe 1k are deciding to pay for something extra.
