They are the same... same oil. I also asked them about this when I noticed a difference in the monthly capsules I order and they said this to me...

"Why we no longer use the one-piece oval GelCaps:

We used to use oval one-piece Gelcaps (darker in color), however, it was really hard sourcing 100% vegan certified organic ones (most companies use a bovine "animal product" material for those) and the one company we found for this couldn't keep up with our volume required.

We found the next best thing with our current 2-piece GelCaps as it's the most superior and "cleanly" produced Gelcap we've been able to find. Sorry we can't offer the oval Gelcaps still but I'm sure you'll find this is the next best option just as we have, as we have a very rigorous process for ingredients and materials used in our products."
