Strange indeed. It's like this thing approached my parents' home, stepped carefully around it (thank you), and continued to wipe out everything else on the block.

Funny, everyone's evacuated, except the oldest couple on the block (my parents), who now are the only residents in the area.
My dad's fixing his car, my mom's helping him clean up (& search for their BBQ - rumor has it it's landed somewhere on the next block, lol), I gave them supplies, a generator, and a cooler for food.

Go figure. They stay overnight at my house from time to time, especially on holidays. Now, in an emergency with no power, I cannot drag them out of there. They're holding claim over their domain. %^))

"Now, where's that flagpole...& didn't you guys have a palm tree over there...wonder where the swimming pool landed...?"
