At this point, let's hope that MMC can optimize its operations to increase production. As I understand it, any incremental production (above and beyond the current 420kT per month) will be priced at the spot price, which is now approaching $290/ton.

At a $60/ton fully-loaded production cost, that's a lot of incremental margin just waiting to be collected. If MMC can generate an extra 30kT per month, that would translate into an incremental $80M of cash profit (annualized).

And in this case, with all due respect to the CEO with the bad hipster haircut, a lack of haste makes waste.
