Mystery solved regarding Wed's 30c decline. It coincided w a Zachs rating going from a hold to a sell put out that day. The next day Jefferies Group LLC reissued their buy rating. From www.thecerbatgem.com

Jefferies Group LLC reissued their buy rating on shares of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPPI) in a research note issued to investors on Thursday. They currently have a $8.50 price target on the biotechnology company’s stock.
Several other research firms have also commented on SPPI. Zacks Investment Research lowered shares of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals from a hold rating to a sell rating in a research report on Wednesday, January 11th. FBR & Co set a $11.00 price target on shares of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and gave the company a buy rating in a research report on Saturday, March 11th. Finally, HC Wainwright set a $10.00 price target on shares of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and gave the company a buy rating in a research report on Saturday, March 11th. One equities research analyst has rated the stock with a sell rating and four have issued a buy rating to the company’s stock. The company currently has an average rating of Buy and a consensus target price of $8.80.

Note this article has a consensus price target of $8.80. The article I posted yesterday had a $9.63 consensus price target. So taking the average of those 2 #s I get $9.215 as my take on consensus. That nearly a 50% gain from where we are now which is $6.20.
