Amigo- Now in regards to PODRAS and the clarification on how they will do first clinical tests in humans. Penna said they will initially test with eight 10mg tablets(Rexista w/PODRAS my guess). I think they will get going on an initial clinical phase of this testing soon. The test specified by Penna is relatively safe(low dose) and won't be all that expensive. My guess is first round of tests is on a limited number of subjects in a controlled environment. They will give the subjects the eight doses and then monitor blood/vitals to see what type of release rate the dose is delivered at over a 24-48 hour period. Then those results will be reviewed and scaled up. If positive, the next step would probably be to repeat the test with 20mg tablets and review the results once again. Baby steps to keep the participants safe. My guess is the initial test population will be around 20-50 people. But that is just a guess. These initial clinical trials will be an extremely import proof of concept.
