What makes you think there is a delay, and has not begun? Even a 510(k) process[assuming you are correct for a device/drug/biologic combo] is not instantaneous, finger-snap process.

Did you read my previous post to effect that Shan told me this week that "they" are in process of putting Dr. Schroit's proof of concept study into a commercial format suitable for end users---Dr labs, hospital labs, clinical trial labs, other clinician labs etc. That is not instantaneous either, in what promises to be a highly competitive market. Those end users do not necessarily have the "fancy equipment " that Dr. Schroit had available to him at UTSW. Dr. Wolchok at MSKCC probably does. But a simple format in which fancy equipment is not necessary is more desirable, agree?

Nor is the test expected to be the same for all kinds of tumors. IF you read the patent application examples, you would see that.
