Houston Refinery being built. Jack Hanks, KPE, Land, permits, financing. Here is some DD I did by myself and I'm sure maybe some of it has already been posted? IMO, I think too much emphasis is being put on this evaluation as the things below are going to really make the deal for us longs.

LAST post of day for me as #3!!

Many more questions than answers and I have e-mailed both KPE and that valuation company, but zero responses.

1) Does this Hanks own the land as stated by several? If so, where is the proof?

2) I have listed current U.S. refineries and MMEX would NOT be the first one built as one in Houston should currently be under construction right now so THAT one would be the first in 40-years which may take some of the air out of the one MMEX is planning on building? Maybe Permian basin would get more kick?

3) IF he does own the land, clearly, permits and financing are going to be the next two most critical pieces of the puzzle as just because there is an agreement, doesn't really mean squat as they can fall apart just as easy as a PR being released.
I'm not quite sure why KPE would even put anything on their website other than the fact that they are really not that old of a company and plans to actually build a refinery may look good?

4) KPE seems to now specialize in running refineries with the utmost efficiency which can lead to better yields, more "green" environmentally wise and less expensive to run.

5) Then of course there is Trump pushing for more refineries.

6) Lastly, from this article, IF Hanks DOES own the land, it would be very conveniently located near railroad to shoot right down to the growing demand in Mexico.

If anyone can somehow prove Hanks actually owns the land, that would be step number one. IF they are truly planning on starting construction next year, there is probably going to be a Plethora of news coming out in the next 3-6 months pertaining to permits, government approval, etc. Need a bit more to make me feel a lot better about waiting for my multiple 6-figure to hopefully 7-figure payout in the next 2 - 2 1/2 years!

Good luck and let's hope this deal is REAL!!!!!
