I know many are thinking that's the reason he hasn't signed a partner on Rexista yet...but I think it's more complex than that...I think it has everything to do with augmenting PODRAS into Rexista and trying to secure a complex deal on Rexista version II with PODRAS...and negotiating a Rexista partner willing to fork out the +$20M and 2 years worth of extensive human trials it's gonna take to prove out Rexista version II with PODRAS.

If I'm any 1 of the potential Rexista partner suitors...not only do I want Rexista...I want Rexista version II with PODRAS too...but also, with the full knowledge of what proving out PODRAS means on 100's of other opioid/narcotic/over the counter drugs...I also damn well want a piece of that action for forking over the coin and spending the time proving out PODRAS for Rexista version II right.

So it's easy to sit back and say and/or blame Dr Odidi for not just securing a Rexista deal yet and assuming it's because he wants too much of an upfront pymt...but I feel due to ALL the complexities involved surrounding PODRAS and its multiple potential applications far beyond Rexista version II...there really is most likely a ton of moving parts to any Rexista deal with multiple potential partnership suitors.

That recent investor presentation with CFO Della Penna saying they're seeking a plug & play Rexista partnership was quite revealing in that he specifically stated something to the effect that a couple of big bio players had already apparently told IPCI to circle back with them with approval in hand(or something to that affect)...so who really knows what all the moving parts are...we just know that PODRAS is most definitely a big part of it...and since PODRAS can be applied to hundreds of other painkillers...that has to be yet another complex aspect in getting any Rexista deal done...imo anyways since PODRAS could revolutionize the entire global pain killer market far far beyond Rexista version II and right now anyways IPCI can't prove out their PODRAS tech without securing a partnership of some kind which includes lucrative upfront monies at the very least giving IPCI the option to start PODRAS trials themselves.

I just don't think Dr Odidi is as greedy as some others may think...I think he's simply trying to navigate around how much of a valuation potential Rexista partnership suitors are currently willing to apply to PODRAS.

So to summarize all the above...it's my belief that any pending potential Rexista deal has 3 potential layers to it...Rexista version I without PODRAS...Rexista version II with PODRAS and the 2 years worth of costly clinical trials...and all the other painkillers PODRAS could then be applied to. To me any potential Rexista partner suitors will be discussing all 3 of those layers before signing any Rexista version 1 deal glty
