When I started at Maxxon it was just barely starting out in Hobbs. Manager was cool, worked with him at a prior place of employment. Then we went without work for awhile or had barely any loads at all. Only took home a 1000 every 2 weeks. Then the idiot CEO got involved running the yard because they got a big contract(plains). Work picked up which was fine but I was behind on a lot of the bills and asked for a cash advance of $600, and the only reason he said he gave it to me was because I served in the military and not to tell anyone about it. I thought that was stupid because the real reason I needed it was because they didn't give enough work prior to this. They also say to cheat your logs if you want to make money or so they can keep the contracts so some drivers work over 20 hours straight sometimes. The don't provide uniforms. They don't have good equipment. The trailer pressure tests aren't up to date on half of their trailers last time I checked. They lied to the big contractor about how much oil was hauled on at least one occasion. I noticed they put $80000 starting pay on the last indeed post, that's a lie. And finally I was fired in August for putting in an application with another company and the CEO said he didn't like giving out proprietary information to other employers like my urinalysis results so I can get hired at a better paying company and he said I had been late everyday since June 15 yet I was on military duty at the time. CEO is an anti military, you do everything I say or your fired, low paying, cheat your logs or your fired and you still owe me everything kinda guy...but I still got the job I was applying for so thanks for the time off you discriminatory piece of garbage.
