checkmate28: ORV.to would want to do a reverse split at some point so that the stock could attract institutional investors. It already trades on a major exchange, so that is not an issue.

Once bitten, twice shy. I have a biotech that did a huge reverse split that diluted my shares to next to nothing. Yesterday, the company announced good test results, and the stock doubled. Had I purchased shares post split, I would have gotten a nice return. Instead, my position is way down. The post-split OS is around 2M. If I hold onto my shares and the stock does forward splits, I still cannot back to even.

I came out only slightly behind after the USA.to reverse split, and I expect to make a profit in the end. But with only 300 post-split shares, it won't be much of a profit.

You can make a ton of money if you invest in a very low-priced stock of a company that succeeds and does not do a reverse split, but that is rare, imo.
