tom said it was a dry hole. a "near miss" in new mexico will be the end of this stock as far as many are concerned. They were supposed to drill new mexico way back in July so forgive me if I'm getting little impatient. The ceo of AURC was full of promises too. This is what bothers me:

"The next two wells to be drilled by Eldorado should start in August "

"announced today that the company will drill a 7000' well in Roosevelt County, New Mexico before the end of September 2006."

if you're going to estimate something publicly make it WAY out in the future and then surprise everyone with a "we're drilling early!!" press release. This isn't rocket science and all these CEO's screw it up.

"announced today that the 3 Sisters well in Glasscock County, Texas, has been plugged as a dry hole."

It is characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things.
