There are federal regulations and state regulations. When it comes to cars, federal regulations are more about setting MPG standards for selling automobiles nationwide and possible pollution crossing state lines. State regulations are more about maintenance and emissions of an automobile operated by a citizen of that state. Trumps recent executive actions will have no bearing on state regulations already in place, and thus, will have no effect on Speedemissions' business model.
