Thanks for your information. I think and hope a day may be near when the junk term marijuana will be relegated to the junk bin of history.
I am not an accountant, lawyer or doctor but a long retired scientist from a distant field. I have been in an opium den in Bangkok [damned if it didn't look exactly like the pictures] but have never smoked a joint and have no more desire to than puff on the ghastly opium pipe once offered.
I don't remember now how many years ago I stood outside a meeting place with a chemistry professor and his wife. The angry professor was being told his aging patent for a synthetic cannabinoid was being abandoned because it "was too difficult to manufacture" while the prof retorted he could easily whip up batches in his lab and they couldn't make it?
Nearly all talk had been about pain relief but I had managed even in meetings to interject that the drug was an antispasmodic.
At the end of the confrontation even the prof laughed when I mentioned marijuana might help treat brain cancer - as you know now it is one of the subjects of research nearly all offshore because of our puritanical laws.
I truly believe there is a great future for cannabis as a medical drug but doubt I will still be vertical when it comes to fruition.
