The committee vote doesn't mean approval or disapproval. It's just their recommendation to the FDA.

However, the FDA usually sides with the committee if the vote is strong enough.

Both Purdue and KemPharm had their IR's CANNED by the FDA advisory committee and the FDA agreed.
