There are virtually no retail shorts in penny stocks. Check any Broker. At Etrade (if they let you) you have to put up $10 in cash or securities to short 1 share of a penny stock. Who in their right mind would do that??? As for illegal and off shore shorting that almost completely stopped years ago. True there may still be some illegal naked shorting going on in penny land, but it is few and far between. Action in this stock is just retail with some nice profit taking, some avg down, some new investors (me for one) just getting in etc. I am trusting that some of the longs here know what they are talking about which is why most of the buys after 3:30 today were mine just about a million shares. Not a lot of money I know but if it runs like the last penny I was in (SING) then I will be very happy.
