S and P and Moodys were clearly part of the "gaming"

Now - what has changed?

Every one - I mean every one - back then in the dark days noted how S and P and Moodys were paid by the issuers of the bonds they rated so they had every incentive to rate high and higher

Anyone know if that has changed?

I doubt it
