RMAT is like qualifying for the Olympic Trials.


At least that's my analogy...

USRM appears to have everything in place to be a contender by meeting/exceeding the standards to qualify. They can then train harder knowing that they have a guaranteed opportunity to compete for a spot on the Olympic team (FDA approval for an actual consumer product) in a new event.

The science seems sufficient to be given an opportunity due to the relatively low barrier to admission in these early stages of regenerative medicine.
