"Long term capital advantages have presented" sounds like more Cyclone pseudo-business babble. Having nothing to say in plain English that sounds good, they have consistently resorted to using business-babble to con people into thinking something important is going on. Notice that the "long term capital advantages" aren't specifically delineated? Think of all the talk about "disruptive" technologies...anyone ever see any demonstrated?
How about "strategic partnerships"? How can you have that many partnerships in a decade and, at the end of it, no one is still hanging around and nothing is any better --- although millions of dollars have evaporated with nothing concrete to show for it? Come to think of it, ever notice how often they use, and abuse, the term "strategic"? I say abuse because strategy refers to the over all set of goals and the general principles whereby they are achieved yet these press releases usually use the term to reference relatively minor shifts in goals --- which are "tactical" in nature and not "strategic".
THERE'S an interesting field of discussion. How can you constantly reference strategy but never mention tactics when strategy is typically a long term process and tactics are the day-to-day process used to implement strategy? My BS sense is tingling and I can only assume that the term is tossed out because it sounds important and is meant to impress.....
I'd have been vastly more impressed if, instead of all this high flown alleged strategizing, they had assembled PERT charts (Program Evaluation and Review Technique)to organize their program into tightly refined steps with heavily monitored critical paths and ongoing resolution of departures from the timeline set by the PERT chart.
