Also, after half of the patients have been on the drug for over 12 month, the rate of expected death(no matter what arm)will increase month by month. You would expect relatively few deaths after three months, more at six months, more at nine months, more after 12 months based on what we know about how rGBM works--even if VB-111 achieves awesome results at 14-15 months, you would still expect the rate of death to increase between the first interim analysis and the 'final' results at 75 % of events.... which is why the expected time is small between interim analysis at mid year and final results at start of '18.
