I was all set to ask WTF you were whining about CD...silver had a pretty good day on Friday. Then I saw the divergence between silver and gold. What's the reason? Your probably right, an end of the week takedown to avoid paying off on call options. The precous metals markets are very small and are prone to this kind of action. I wanted to wait until monday morning to respond, and true to form GOLD corrects all the way back to it's pre-takedown trend. Does anyone have anything more on this apparent blatant market manipulation? I looked and could find none.
