Just in case anyone cares for a lil update: in 2015 JSC (joint stock company) BAST (mining company) was first to IPO on newly reorganized Kazakhstan stock exchange or KASE.
the ONLY company that would underwrite and is still only market maker is FFIN. TT was on the BOD shortly after.
Now, 3/23/2017; TT has voluntarily resigned from BOD of BAST and was replaced by none other than old CEO of BMBM, Askar Tashtitov

Ive scourged web, no hints of impropriety, exact opposite saying all is good with BAST, one MM remains due KASE guidelines - no mention of any concerns so I believe the timing may be for TT to make sure no cross contamination can be alleged while he is remains on BOD of his bank and other companies.
